When in a person’s birth-chart all the planets namely Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn are placed between Rahu and Ketu then the person has the Kalsarpa yoga.

In this combination the shadow of Rahu and Ketu destroys the benefic influences in the kundali and increases the malefic effects. The effect is like that of a serpent swallowing all happiness. The person affected by this Yoga performs all his duties and responsibilities. She is born to help others in trouble while his own life may be full of struggle.   She may have an extraordinary amount of problems and conflicts and there may be many ups-and-downs in life. This Yoga takes people to tremendous heights and then brings them crashing down to earth.

The Kalsarpa yoga has got a lot of fame recently, but according to most qualified astrologers this Yoga is not always malefic. Many say that no Yoga is fully good or bad, but according to circumstances even Kalsarpa Yoga will give a person positive results.

I was born on 26-06-79 at 11 pm in Nellore, Andhrapradesh, India. I have good yogas but wrongly placed. Mine is Kumbha Lagna with Ketu in it. In 4th house I have Kuja and Sukra, 5th house Sun, 6th House – Guru, Chandra and Budha and 7th House – Sani and Rahu. 4th Drushti/aspect of Kuja on 7th house, Kal Sarpa Yoga and Sat and Rahu in 7th house are the problems in my chart. Can you please advise me the remedies and also tell me if there is any hope of getting a good life partner? Read that the life partner would be aged compared to me. Is that inevitable?
