Panchak means group of ‘Five’ (Panch). In every month, it is period of five days when Moon transits from Aquarius & Meen rashis respectively.
Ghanishtha (Last two parts), Shatbhisha, Purvabhadrapada, Utrabhadrapada and Revati are five Nakshatras principally four and a half Nakshatras are known as a Panchak. In other words the duration of placement of Moon in Aquarius or Pisces is known as Panchak. It is also called Ghanishtha Panchak. According to some people the person who is born in Ghanishtha Nakshatra of Panchak may be physically challenged. In some places, the first hald of Ghanishtha Nakshatra is considered inauspicious.
Gaj Kesari Yoga is one of the auspicious yogas in Vedic Astrology. This yoga is formed in the birth-chart when Jupiter is in Kendra, i.e.,Ascendant, fourth, seventh and tenth house from Moon. When two planets are located near the same point of one sign, then a Yoga is created. In this situation each planet tries to influence both the sides with their rays, which is called Vrit (circle). Sun is the most powerful planet among all, therefore its one circle (Vrit) completes in 170 minutes, of Moon in 120 and of the remaining planets in 70 minutes.
